The meaning of blumpf

What does blumpf mean to you?

When discussing the finer points of blumpf, it quickly becomes obvious that it means something slightly different to each person.  What is the first thing that comes into your head when you hear Dr. Bill utter his iconic phrase "Blumpfity blumpf blumpf"?  And for that matter, just what is an "Oldhead"?  Have anymore Robinsonisms you'd like to share?  Bring 'em on...

From Anon:

I think it means etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, ...or.... whatever!!! I saw all the text chatting about it in my first class ... then when I heard it...it was funny...almost like the computer had made some sort of beep sound...blumpf is very unique, I had never heard it before!

Blumpf. Ahh..... The slightly Germanic-ish sound rings ever in mine ears, recalling days of future past. We know it. And yet, we do not know it. Blumpf is all around us, within us. Nouns. Verbs. Electrons moving stuff around in cyberspace. We are not alone.
